Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. July 2023 – CM3 Building Solutions, Inc. was recently awarded an Energy Conservation Contract (COSTARS-28) by Pennsylvania’s Department of General Services (DGS).
The contract award enables CM3 to provide energy conservation equipment and services, such as building automation systems, HVAC systems, water conservation, energy management, and other efficiency and conservation measures.
CM3 has provided energy conservation equipment and services to municipal and commercial customers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware for twenty years. Founded in 2002, the company was originally an Invensys branch office providing installation, maintenance and energy services for building automation and HVAC mechanical systems.
“For 20 years, CM3 has been a leader in identifying and implementing energy conservation measures in facilities throughout Pennsylvania,” states John Hollister, Executive Vice President of CM3 Building Solutions. “Maximizing energy efficiency is one of our core values and something we pursue for all customers, whether it’s a new installation, a retrofit or a repair.”
COSTARS is the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s cooperative purchasing program and serves as a conduit through which registered and eligible local public procurement units and state-affiliated entities can leverage contracts established by DGS to cost-effectively identify suppliers with whom to do business.
In addition to the Energy Conservation Contract, CM3 holds several COSTARS awards:
- Maintenance, repair, and operation equipment (COSTARS-8)
- Auditorium renovations (COSTARS-34)
- Security, surveillance, and fire alarm systems (COSTARS-40)
- Energy consulting services (COSTARS-30)
Hollister observes, “Energy conservation is an area of focus for all our school district and public entity customers. With the COSTARS-30 and now the COSTARS-28 award, we can continue to be a true partner in pursuing energy efficiency.”
