Our History

2025

In response to rising energy costs, CM3 enhances its robust portfolio of energy services with a turnkey solar generation solution to enable self-generation capabilities for our customers.

2022

CM3 becomes a member of Daikin, the world’s number one air conditioning company, strengthening CM3’s ability to serve customers across the entire lifecycle of their building systems and operation.

2021

CM3 obtains certification in New Jersey and Pennsylvania (and in 2022 Delaware) to provide Fire Alarm Services (installation, test, inspection, and monitoring).

2020

In response to the pandemic, CM3 delves more deeply into air purification technology, delivering an expanded set of air purification solutions to our customers.

2017

Managed IT and Communications Services are incorporated into an already robust portfolio, enabling customers from small to large to achieve greater scalability and affordability with their telephone and IT infrastructure.

2016

CM3 adds Information Security Services to help our customers identify vulnerabilities and secure their networks against the threat of cyber attacks.

2014

CM3 further enhances its offerings to include Building Analytics and Optimization Systems, which ensures an additional path for our customers to obtain greater control over energy usage and run times of their Building Control and Mechanical Equipment.

2013

CM3 integrates Global Plasma Solutions into its Energy Services Offering, delivering both energy efficiency and air purification to our customers.

2009

CM3 brings Security Technologies to its customers, establishing itself as a regional leader with a comprehensive suite of security solutions from access control and video surveillance to lockdown systems and crisis communications.

2003

CM3 offers Maintenance and Repair Services to its growing customer base in the greater Philadelphia area. With a talented staff of Technicians and Mechanics, CM3 helps customers manage their Building Automation and HVAC assets to improve comfort and efficiency, while increasing equipment lifecycle.

2003

CM3 delivers Energy Services to its growing customer base throughout the entire east coast. With insurance and bonding capacities to meet requirements of any size project, CM3 assists customers in realizing millions of dollars of budget reductions and energy conservation opportunities through facility enhancements and performance upgrades.

2002

CM3 Building Solutions, Inc. is established by virtue of the acquisition of an existing Invensys branch office in the greater Philadelphia area. The acquisition establishes CM3 as the sole manufacturer’s representative of the Invensys (later TAC, then Schneider Electric) line of Building Automation Controls products in the greater Philadelphia area.
