Background
A low-income, 9-story apartment complex located in Southeastern Pennsylvania has 175 senior apartments and is seeking to update their access control and video surveillance system to provide enhanced security to its residents.
The Challenges
As a complex serving the low-income, senior community, the management team was seeking a budget-friendly approach that was also intuitive and user-friendly, requiring minimal education for residents to use the system.
The Solution
CM3 was able to leverage much of the existing Access Control System while simultaneously retrofitting and upgrading it. We installed Wi-Fi throughout the entire building and added a cloud-based intercom system that was both expandable and easy to use for elderly residents.
Additionally, IP video surveillance was added to both the interior and exterior of the property to enhance security.
A Wireless Emergency System for Residents was also provided, including wireless pendants and wireless pull stations for ADA apartments.
