RCx Lead Specialist

Provide a lead role in retro-commissioning (RCx), monitor-based commissioning (MBCx), field integration services for CM3 Building Solutions. Reporting to our Service Operations Manager, this individual will provide expertise, oversight, and technical management of RCx and MBCx services.

Essential Functions:

  • Field RCx services for building automation, building envelop, electrical, fire, lighting, security, plumbing, mechanical, solar, etc. systems.
  • Provide project planning services.
  • High-level customer relations and management interaction with owner and owner’s representatives.
  • Perform onsite function performance tests for general systems listed above.
  • Provide monitor-based commissioning solutions for RCx activities.
  • Manage and direct onsite staff.
  • Oversee specialty 3rd party subcontractors.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting of daily activities.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of systems tested.
  • Assemble final reports for internal review.
  • Identify corrective actions for improvement solutions.
  • Work with development team to build cost analysis.

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC / BAS systems.
  • Minimum 3 years RCx field experience.
  • Knowledge of low voltage power, communication, and network wiring practices.
  • Tridium Niagara AX/N4 Framework Certification.
  • Knowledge of proprietary protocols and automation systems helpful.
  • Analytics background preferred.
  • Automation programming knowledge of BACnet, LON, Modbus, and useful proprietary systems.
  • CM3 additional requirements.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

  • Criminal Background Check, PA Child Welfare and FBI fingerprinting clearance required; other clearances as required by state/districts of job sites
  • DMV check
  • Pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing during employment
